TEN (10) COUNTY INFRASTRUCTURE ANNOUNCEMENT
CORRY, PA — Erie County Executive Brenton Davis along with Crawford and Warren County Commissioners will make a broadband funding announcement in Corry, PA. The federal BEAD funding was awarded by the PA Broadband Development Authority to the CoreConnect project in the amount of $90,744,518. Coreconnect will create an open access fiber network that will allow internet providers to run service over the network. This should provide a choice for consumers. Coreconnect will insist that anyone providing internet service on their fiber lines must have economical prices for consumers. Also the Coreconnect project will allow for the highest speeds possible. This funding will connect 10,337 locations to broadband.
