Press Conference to Address Budget Issues

Please join us for a press conference in the County Council Caucus Room at the Erie County Courthouse at 12:00 pm Thursday, November 21st.

As a steward of taxpayer dollars, I must speak to the glaring issues in this budget. The current proposal contains egregious errors that call into question all facets of this budget, and prior budgets created by this administration.

Among the topics of conversation:

  • A first-hand, factual accounting of the budgeting process to date.
  • A discussion of the large errors uncovered in this budget.
  • A rebuttal of the Administration’s excuses.
  • Failure to address long-term financial sustainability.

I believe that Erie County residents deserve to know the truth about how their money is being managed. It is my job to provide transparency and accountability.
