General Authority

The Erie County General Authority works to provide tax-exempt financing for qualified non-profit projects in Erie County. The board’s five members serve concurrently on the Erie County Community Services Financing Authority, which provides tax-exempt bond financing to qualified nonprofits.

Authority Members

Members are appointed by the County Executive, with the advice and consent of County Council. Members serve five-year terms.


The authority meets quarterly. The meetings are open to the public.
