The Erie County Convention Center Authority provides convention facilities and entertainment venues for residents and tourists. The nine-member board consists of appointees from Erie County; the City of Erie; and the Governor of Pennsylvania.
Of the nine members, four are appointed by the County Executive with the advice and consent of County Council; three members are appointed by the Erie Mayor, with the advice and consent of City Council; and two members are appointed by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Pennsylvania Senate. Members serve four-year terms.
The authority meets monthly. Meetings are open to the public.
