Erie County Executive to Present $250k to McKean Township as part of Municipal GAP Funding Program
When:
Where:
9231 Edinboro Rd.
McKean, PA 16426
What:
Erie County Executive Brenton Davis is pleased to present $250K to McKean Township for the replacement of the Colonial Village Sewage Plant. This aging facility is over 70+ years old and is badly in need of repair. With the help of these GAP funds, the township is able to completely rebuild the facility to increase capacity so that more homes can be placed on municipal sewer and eliminate many failing septic systems in the area.
Erie County GAP Funds are used to leverage a municipality’s effort to invest in water, sewer, and broadband infrastructure, making necessary investments to improve access to clean drinking water, support vital wastewater and storm water infrastructure, and to expand access to broadband internet.
