Erie County reports 99 new positive cases of COVID-19; cumulative total is 2,846

Erie, PA – County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper and Erie County Department of Health announce 99 new positive cases of COVID-19 and one new death have been reported in Erie County as of 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 10.

The total cumulative cases of COVID-19 in Erie County since March is 2,846, with 557 active cases, 2,232 recovered cases, 36,900 negatives and 57 deaths reported in NEDSS.

Of the cumulative cases, 55% are female and 45% are male.

The breakdown of cumulative cases by race/ethnicity is as follows:

  • 63% White residents
  • 14% African American/Black residents
  • 8% Asian residents
  • 2% Other
  • 13% Unknown

Five percent of the cases are Hispanic, of any race; 75% are not Hispanic; and 20% are unknown.

The age breakdown of the cumulative cases looks like this:

  • 2% are ages 0-4
  • 1% are ages 5-9
  • 8% are ages 10-18
  • 16% are ages 19-24
  • 37% are ages 25-49
  • 19% are ages 50-64
  • 16% are ages 65 and older
