Erie County reports 11 new positive cases of COVID-19

Erie, PA — County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper and Erie County Department of Health (ECDH) announce 11 new positive cases of COVID-19 reported in Erie County as of 11:59 p.m. on June 8.
The total cumulative cases of COVID-19 in Erie County since March 2020 is 21,146 with 472 deaths reported in the National Electronic Disease Surveillance System (NEDSS). This information can be found at eriecountypa.gov.
Demographic information on the cumulative cases can be found in an age, race and gender report (which includes Hispanic origin), a seven-day daily case count breakdown and zone map data, and a wastewater report that are available at eriecountypa.gov. (Refresh each page to see most recent update.)
All unvaccinated residents are reminded to wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth when near anyone who does not live inside their home, keep a 6-foot distance from others, stay home when feeling ill, wash hands frequently, and limit activities outside of their homes.
