WHAT:

Erie County government, EMS providers and municipal officials have been discussing possible strategies to address this crisis for several years. From these conversations and research, leaders in Erie County are exploring establishment of an Erie County EMS Authority. This countywide entity would coordinate system resources, create economies of scale through shared services, and act as a vehicle to attract grants and other external resources to sustain the system.

We urge you to come to one of these meetings to learn about how an authority could help provide essential resources and support to Erie County’s EMS providers.
