Erie, Pa. – Erie County Public Library together with The Public Libraries of Erie County announces participation in the Women’s History Month Reading Challenge 2021. The challenge, open to readers from Kindergarten age to adults, runs from Monday, March 1, until Wednesday, March 31. All public libraries within Erie County host this virtual program via Beanstack, thanks to the generous support of Friends of the Erie County Public Library.
By participating in the March Beanstack challenge and earning activity badges, readers will join others in honoring and encouraging the study and celebration of women’s dynamic role in American history.
Readers are challenged to read at least 10 hours during the challenge and track their reading on the challenge site, through virtual reading badges earned. There will also be virtual activity badges to earn as well. Readers should complete the activities and log their reading to earn the badges and complete the challenge.
Those interested in participating may register online at https://erielibrary.beanstack.org, or download the Beanstack app to register and participate on a mobile device.
