Erie County Public Library seeks archivist for Erie African-American history collection
Erie, PA –Erie County Public Library together with Burleigh Legacy Alliance seeks a highly qualified, diverse archive professional to assist with the “Ada Lawrence-Johnny Johnson Preservation Project.” The short-term contract appointment will work on-site at the Raymond Blasco M.D. Memorial Library caring for the critically important archive.
This initiative aims to preserve local African-American collections and was funded by Erie Community Foundation’s Helping Today grant. A request for proposals is now open through September 25.
