Erie, PA – Erie County Public Library’s Idea Lab will commence its next CO.STARTERS Core Cohort on Tuesday, Feb. 16.
The CO.STARTERS Core Cohort program is an intensive 10-session program where budding entrepreneurs, or “starters,” are led through exercises to build their businesses from scratch. Each week, local community experts will answer questions and give advice in areas such as accounting, law, marketing and customer development. At the end of the cohort, each student will have a solid plan to start his or her business.
The fee for this program is $125. For scholarship information, please call Rachel Stevenson at 814-451-6918.
“We often hear that starters who are ready to begin business plans want more one-to-one training to complete their idea,” said Rachel Stevenson, programming librarian and CO.STARTERS coordinator at the Erie County Public Library. “Our CO.STARTERS Core Cohort sessions have a small capacity. They are meant to provide individualized answers and really guide you step by step.”
This cohort, along with other CO.STARTERS programs, emphasizes the Idea Lab’s focus on supporting entrepreneurship and small businesses. As a partner of the NWPA Innovation Beehive Network, the Idea Lab is uniquely positioned to provide guidance and services for both early stage and hopeful entrepreneurs in Erie County.
