Erie County Courthouse closes to public

Erie, PA – County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper has ordered the Erie County Courthouse to close to the public, effective Friday, March 20, through Sunday, March 29, 2020.
Dahlkemper has worked in collaboration with President Judge Trucilla and the court administration to outline the changes for the courts.
A list of the emergency/essential functions to the exceptions for the closing of Erie County Courthouse to the public is available at eriecountypa.gov.
“In our next effort to slow the spread of the COVID-19 disease in Erie County, President Judge Trucilla, the court administration and I have decided it is imperative that we close the Erie County Courthouse to the public except in essential circumstances,” Dahlkemper said. “We wish to keep our staff, our residents and our community where they need to be – at home with their families.
