Stephanie Domitrovich was elected to the Erie County Court of Common Pleas in 1989, and was retained by voters in 1999, 2009 and 2019. She has served in both the Family Court and Trial Court divisions.
She previously worked as an assistant county solicitor.
Domitrovich is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Erie County Bar Associations, and is a past chair of the National Conference of State Trial Judges. She is past president of the Pennsylvania Conference of State Trial Judges and of the Northwestern Pennsylvania American Inns of Courts. She is also involved with the National Association of Women Judges; the American Judges Association; and the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. She has served as a faculty member for the National Judicial College and the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, and as an instructor at Gannon University.
A native of Rochester, Pennsylvania, she earned a Juris Doctorate from the Duquesne University School of Law. She also received a Ph.D. in Judicial Studies from the University of Nevada at Reno and the National Judicial College, from which she also earned a Master of Judicial Studies in the Trial Judge major. She received a second Master of Judicial Studies, in the Juvenile and Family Court Judges major, from the University of Nevada at Reno and the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges. She graduated summa cum laude from Carlow University.
She is married with children.
