David G. Ridge was elected to the Erie County Court of Common Pleas in 2019.
He previously was in private practice, most recently as the sole practitioner in the Ridge Law Firm. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court in the Western District of Pennsylvania, the Northern District of Ohio and the Eastern District of Michigan, and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
He has been active on the Hearing Committee of the Disciplinary Board of Pennsylvania and the Erie County Bar Association Board of Directors. He has been active in the Presque Isle Advisory Committee, the Erie County Children and Youth Advisory Committee, the Friends of the Tom Ridge Environmental Center.
An Erie native, he earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh Law School and a bachelor’s degree from Allegheny College.
He and his wife, Wendy, live in Fairview Township. They have three children.
