Long Range Transportation Plan

Have you ever wondered how decisions are made to construct improvements at one location rather than another? It all starts with the Long Range Transportation Plan. The current Long Range Transportation Plan was adopted in 2017 but is being updated to meet the current needs of residents as well state and federal performance measures. Watch this video to learn about Long Range Transportation Planning in Erie County.

The Erie Metropolitan Planning Organization invites you to participate in a 5-minute on-line survey to provide input on local and regional issues related to roads, trails, transit, and rail service. You may also map your locations of concerns. These features will be open until June 11th 2021.

If you would like a paper copy of the survey and map, please call 814-451-7325, or write or email the Department of Planning and Community Development.

We look forward to hearing from you.
