Dahlkemper issues statement after receiving confirmation of no appeal for Erie County Community College

Erie, PA – County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper today received confirmation from Andrew Foyle, a member of Northern Pennsylvania Regional College’s board of trustees, that there will be no appeal from the NPRC regarding the State Board of Education’s vote to establish a community college in Erie County. In response, she issued the following statement:
“Mr. Foyle confirmed that the subject of an appeal was discussed in today’s NPRC board of trustees meeting, and it was determined there would be no appeal made by NPRC.
“I have always felt that there could be good synergy between NPRC and the Erie County Community College. Together, the two schools will be able to provide opportunities for all Erie County residents and will be successful in meeting the workforce needs of our local businesses.”
