COVID-19 public health update

Cases and data
From March 27 to April 9,
- There were 211 cases reported, with a daily average of 15 cases. New case numbers reflect only reported cases and is not a definitive indicator of actual number of cases in Erie County.
- There were 3 deaths reported, with dates of death from Feb. 27 to Mar. 27, increasing the total death count in 2023 to 30.
There were 296 vaccination and booster doses administered. There were also 1,077 bivalent booster doses administered. This increases the total number of persons vaccinated to 187,118 with the following breakdown: Advisory
