ERIE, PA –Erie County Executive Brenton Davis issued the following statement regarding a tentative agreement between Wabtec and the United Electrical Radio & Machine Workers Union 506 & 618.

“I am very pleased Wabtec management and EU 506 & 618 leadership were able to work together to achieve a mutually acceptable contract for themselves and our entire community. This contract will enable Wabtec to continue to invest in Erie County by not only sustaining the 2400 existing jobs, but by creating additional jobs paying family sustaining wages. We are thrilled to continue the tradition of making world-class locomotives in Erie.”
