County Executive to recognize National Osteopathic Medicine Week

 

ERIE, PA – County Executive Brenton Davis will recognize National Osteopathic Medicine Week, today, at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), located at 1858 West Grandview Blvd, Erie, PA. The press conference will be held at 4 p.m. in the atrium of the main school building, at the south edge of the LECOM campus.

The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, which opened in 1992, is the nation’s largest medical college and is the only Academic Health Center in the osteopathic profession. LECOM and the hospital are the core of a highly innovative medical education system based in Erie, PA. It is also a major contributor to the economy of the Erie region. Since 1992, LECOM has strived to add to the quality of life in to Northwest Pennsylvania by bringing total health care to the community.
